How to Manifest Clear Skin

Disclaimer: We all have different skin types and internal or external issues that may be causing or contributing to any skin issues. Please see a doctor or dermatologist before trying to treat acne!

My story

Growing up, I had clear, smooth, and dewy skin and I would often receive compliments on it. I was super proud of my skin and viewed it as my best asset. But all that changed drastically when I was in my early twenties.

My skin texture changed, it became dull and it was exploded with pimples. There was very little space on my face that was free from a pimple. I had vicious and unrelenting acne.

I felt like I was being abused by my own body — for no identifiable reason! It was depressing and emotionally and physically painful and it went on and on.

I found that I would avoid going out and I even had trouble sleeping because my pimples were sore and when I pressed my face against the pillow, it was very uncomfortable and painful.

My boyfriend at the time probably didn’t much like it, although he was kind about it.

Getting my smooth, clear skin back wasn’t easy; it took months of hard work. However, since getting it looking clear, beautiful, and healthy again, it has thankfully remained as such!

Before we dive in, here’s the most important thing to take away:

Visualizing that you already have clear skin will help to move your consciousness in the timeline where you have it.

But it won’t just happen through visualisation alone. Other work will be necessary in order to manifest your goal.

Once your start manifesting via consistent, daily visualization, you might feel prompted to eat clean, to get more rest, and so on.

Positive feelings and ideas are your subconscious mind directing you to do things that will help to manifest your desire.

Visualize yourself with clear, smooth, healthy skin

See yourself with clear skin in the present moment.

Picture yourself, in the third person, wearing different outfits and going to different places with clear skin.

How would it feel to have gorgeous clear, smooth, soft, glowing skin? It would feel pretty awesome, right?! You might feel like you want to go out more or try on new make-up or outfits. You might feel happier and bouncier.

You can match the vibration of owning great skin by feeling as if you have it already and see yourself living everyday life with it. Also, perhaps see others complimenting you on it and you thank them.

Feel grateful that you have it — that it’s yours right now.

I know that it sounds strange but the subconscious mind only understands the present. It doesn’t recognize a past or future.

Visualize each evening when you’re relaxed — ideally, before going to bed as that’s when we’re usually most relaxed. When you’re relaxed, your subconscious mind is more open and accepting to new ideas. And by programming the subconscious mind to believe that you have clear skin, you’re much more likely to manifest it.

You can start visualizing straight away — try it out this evening!

Eat healthy, vibrant food

Shortly after I started visualizing clear skin, I felt like I wanted to eat healthier foods.

Changing my diet to a healthy, clean one with plenty of fresh, vibrant fruits and vegetables, probably helped me to sort out some nutritional deficiencies that may have been lurking.

This is definitely a vital part of manifesting clear skin and what probably helped me the most.

Everyone knows that the benefits of cutting out junk food and eating healthy are numerous for not only the skin but for overall health so I’ll just leave it there!

For more information, see this article by Web MD on how your diet affects your skin.

Rule out nutritional deficiencies

Being low on certain vitamins and minerals can cause or worsen, skin problems.

These include:

  • vitamin C
  • vitamin A
  • zinc
  • magnesium

A hormonal imbalance is also a major trigger for acne.

Testing is pretty expensive but it’s good to know what’s happening inside. Your doctor would advise you on how to proceed if this is something that you’d like to look into.

If you can’t afford the tests, just look up foods that are rich in a variety of vitamins and minerals and start to include them in your diet. Then keep an eye on any subsequent changes in your skin.

As a side-note, foods that are high in Magnesium can help you to sleep better and in turn, that can help your skin.

Drink lemon water

Water with a little freshly squeezed lemon in it can provide a good boost of vitamin C, which is brilliant for skin.

Watch out though — drinking too much can cause digestion issues. I just typically squeeze a few drops into my water every time I refill my glass.

See an energy healer

After eating well for a few weeks, I saw quite a lot of  improvement but intuitively, I felt there might be some underlying energies that may have caused or worsened the acne.

I visited an amazing energy healer who removed some underlying beliefs, such as worthlessness and conflict.

By removing those underlying energies, I no longer felt attracted to the same junk food, my mindset changed and felt like I wanted to take better care of myself.

I felt those energies leaving my body and thankfully, as mentioned above, the acne didn’t return.

Use clear skin affirmations

Affirmations, also known as positive statements, when repeated with genuine emotion and belief, can go some way towards programming the subconscious mind.

Using the following affirmations, alongside nightly visualization can be a great way to manifest your goal.

Any affirmations you use should always be set in the present and spoken in the first person.

Here are 10 affirmations that I used almost every morning in front of the mirror:

“I am so grateful to now have smooth, clean, clear skin”.

“I enjoy going out with my friends and showing off my stunning skin”.

“I am so happy to be able to enjoy wearing makeup again”.

“I am so pleased and happy with my clear, glowing skin”

“I’m blessed with amazing skin and my friends and family love it”.

“My face is always sparkly clean and clear”.

“I love my beautiful, healthy, vibrant skin and I’m so appreciative of it”.

“Taking care of myself is such a pleasure”.

“I wake up every morning and proudly look at myself in the mirror. I am so proud of my appearance”.

“I am thoroughly enjoying living my life with clean and clear skin”.

See a dermatologist

You might have already tried this and it’s a pretty obvious course of action but I’m including it because it can really help.

A dermatologist would be able to advise which products to use on problem skin. And at the risk of sounding patronizing — always remember to remove your makeup completely before going to bed!

They will take a look at your skin and suggest products to use and things to do based on your skin type.

Get a food sensitivity test

Rule out any food sensitivities. We can react in many different ways to foods that our bodies dislike.

Sometimes it’s just bloating but it can also affect the skin.

Personally, when I eat too much junk food, the quality of my skin drops. It becomes a bit dull and I get the odd pimple.

Common offenders include:

  • eggs
  • gluten (wheat)
  • lactose (milk)

Don’t pick!

Sorry if this sounds gross but I found this really hard to stop doing! I couldn’t stop touching the really plump pimples when I was at home.

You might not do this but training myself not to pick at my pimples was one of the best ways I helped to avoid longterm scarring.

Some people find it almost impossible to stop picking and might even do it without thinking about it. Any habit can be hard to shift and really bad ones can be even harder.

Consider seeing a psychologist or energy healer as they might be able to help you to break the habit.

Final thoughts

Having acne can cause people to socially withdraw.

I found that a lot of people also started pulling away from me and I was rarely invited to social occasions.

It was hurtful but I learned what it was like to have it and I developed a great deal of compassion for those who struggle with it.

I sincerely hope that you manifest it away and I wish you the best of luck on your manifestation journey.
